Meet Katie
A Little About Me
Hello, I'm Katie, a qualified Play and Creative Arts Therapist passionate about supporting children as they navigate their emotions, experiences and the challenges of growing up.
I believe every child deserves to feel heard, understood and accepted. Through play therapy, I provide a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where children can express themselves freely, build confidence and explore their feelings at their own pace.
For me, play therapy is about more than the activities children engage in. It's about building meaningful therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy and understanding.
My postgraduate training in play therapy has provided me with specialist knowledge and practical skills to support children's emotional and psychological wellbeing.
My qualifications include:
Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy
Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy — through the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC) and the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).
My training informs my commitment to providing thoughtful, child-centred therapeutic support tailored to the individual needs of each child.
