A space to play, express and grow.
What is Play Therapy?
Play is a child's natural way of communicating. Sometimes, children find it difficult to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences through words alone.
Play therapy provides a supportive, child-centred environment where children can explore their emotions, make sense of their experiences and develop confidence through the natural language of play.
Using creative activities, toys, storytelling and imaginative play, children are given the opportunity to express themselves at their own pace.
Meet Katie
Hi, I’m Katie, and I believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel heard, understood and supported as they grow.
Through play therapy, I offer children a gentle, welcoming space to explore their feelings, express themselves and make sense of the world around them. Sometimes, children find it difficult to put their thoughts and emotions into words, and play provides a natural way for them to communicate.
My approach is centred around each child as an individual, supporting their emotional wellbeing, confidence and development at their own pace.
